Copyright registration is a prerequisite to filing a copyright infringement lawsuit. However, this rule doesn't apply to works owned by non-U.S. citizens.
Does anyone know if the plaintiff can simply go ahead and register her work now and then refile her case? Or is this not permitted after summary judgment?
