I work in the area of transfer pricing for KPMG in London. Is anyone aware of any readily available information on the apportionment of sales revenue between a television programme distributor and the owner of the rights to that programme? I believe that a general industry standard may be 30% retention by the distributor, with 70% being returned as a royalty to the owner.
