Regarding the continuing discussion of whether copyright infringement is theft, or its moral equivalent, or some tertium quid, I note with interest that the fraudulent practice of assuming the name and credentials of another on the Internet is now being called "identity theft." If this practice is truly a "theft" of identity, what does the victim have left?
