     As I understand it, it falls within fair use to hire a translator to produce a translation for your personal use.

     Of course, even object code is readable with a hex editor and a knowledge of the machine language, file format, and linker/loader of the OS the object code is for. It's not that hard (simple enough for a computer to read), though it does require some table lookup.
