I think it does. "ANother" = "one" other. Note that copy is singular.
Also it refers to an "essential" step to use on "a" machine. You can read the latter "a" to mean "one" and you're done, or you can read it to mean "any" or "some" and then once you have the first installation, the second machine is not "essential".
