While you would think that Contentville licenses the materials posted, it isn't always the case. I edit two magazines for school librarians. One of our authors recently contacted me about some of her pieces available on Contentville. I checked, and found 68 of my own articles there. Our publisher has been in discussions with EBSCO (owner of Contentville) about listing us, but there have been no agreements signed!

Recently, I have been doing research into the Contentville settlement with the NWU and I understand that there is a new case against Northern Light and some others.

My question is, since these servcies license the material from the archive makers or the original publishers of the materials, why isn't the NWU going after these publishers. Received on Thu Oct 19 2000 - 14:02:45 GMT
