between licence and agreement?? Where can I find
something to read about it? >>
A license is the legal right to do something that you otherwise would not be
permitted to do. The owner of a copyrighted work such as a photograph can
authorize someone else to use the photograph --for example, to reproduce it
in a website or on a greeting card --by granting a license to the user. If no
license has been given, the copyright owner can sue for the unauthorized use
of the work.
Most licenses are granted as part of a license agreement. All forms of
intellectual property -- trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and patents --
can be the subject of license agreements.
