the reality is that you cannot prevent anyone taking your images if they
are so inclined (and know how). you can put in place deterrents, such as
the no-right-click java script you reference here but that also prevents
someone using right click to bookmark your page, too .. I, personally find
that far more annoying than anything. Those who really want your images
will simply do a Save page as (at least in MS IE) and they get it all ..
I'm sure there are some more intricate, complex, or sophisticated scripts to hide images, so to speak (the images used in the lake java applet, comes to mind as an example) but that requires a higher learning curve or $$$ something many on the web don't particularly want to expend.
You can use Digimark to embed a code but that won't prevent the taking. It aides in the tracking. You could do your own watermarking .. which detracts from the appearance ..
To my knowledge there just is no way to guarantee your images remain "unstealable" other than not to post them .. of course, I could be wrong :)
