This is a war against the Copymonopolists

Jeremy Byrne, asked what it is that brought him to, and keeps him contributing to, this list (since he clearly deplores copyright's existence), replied with a reference to

That turned out to be a reference to a February 2201 exchange between him and me in which he explained that he had joined the list in connection with research for a particular IT project and stayed on because it's

I haven't the faintest idea what that is, but I would ask why it leads him to post repeated insults to artists and writers, the vast majority of whom are non-wealthy people trying to make an often pitiful living and who, in the view of the Founding Fathers and most of the subscribers to this list, are potentially valued contributors to society.
