I respectfully disagree. JMOL means judgment as a matter of law, but I've never seen anyone use just JMO to mean that. In the context of the message inquired about, I believe JMO meant "just my opinion."
It is common in the online community to use such acronyms for frequently-used phrases. Many people use the acronym IANAL (I am not a lawyer). I often use FYI (for your information) and BTW (by the way).
