Cost of copyright licensing.

This message is a request for information from libraries that handle requests for copyright clearance for electronic reserves. Curretnly we leave the responsibility with the academic department secretaries, but it has been suggested that the library assume this responsibility for the entire campus. If your library does this, I would like to know:  

1. The number of articles or other text items processed for electronic reserves.
2. The number of articles or other text requiring copyright permissions (i.e., not Fair Use).
3. The total cost or average cost for permissions fees.
4. Which of the following are included: humanities disciplines, social science disciplines, science disciplines?
