        Interestingly, if I recall correctly, Yahoo encountered significant backlash for a similar approach in its Terms of Service a number of years ago and changed its policy as a result. Today, Yahoo's Terms of Service states: "Yahoo! does not claim ownership of Content you submit or make available for inclusion on the Service." And, although the policy still requires users to grant a license to Yahoo, the license is "solely for the purposes of providing and promoting the specific Yahoo! Club or Yahoo! Group to which such Content was submitted or made available." See http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/ By comparison, it appears as if the Amazon.com license has no such "purpose" limitations.
