Which language?

Hello,

    I am an American citizen. I live in Russia and pay Russian freelance programmers for their work on my Internet site. I will prepare a Work Agreement assigning all rights to me. The agreement will show English and Russian translation side-by-side. Which language should be the default in case of a translation misunderstanding?
