Amazon.com's "Search Inside the Book"

Not yet. Authors Guild members (I'm one) did receive a heads-up memorandum on this business a few days before release of the statement that triggered the story in the 10/27 New York Times (and perhaps elsewhere). But we've not been advised of any specific instances of confrontation--yet.

BTW: There is a story on the Amazon program, "The Great Library of Amazonia," by Gary Wolf, slated for the December issue of WIRED. It's already posted at the magazine's Website:
