Hi tom
I am not so sure that there is such "far thinking" by politicians to
accept this kind of treaties to
avoid empowering individuals. Most probably, the lobbying power of big
business (the telcos, MSN, and other
and their lawyers !) are "manipulating" them with the "carrots" of
"this is a way of "policing" Internet", good for the
business and then good for America (sounds familiar?) and the stick of
campaign funding and these sort of things
I am not a layer but I ssume that, in the CNI community, there are
specialists who could search the holes and list the suit potential
(including whatever International Court appearing to be competent) which
could be created if such insane and diabolical treaty is accepted Then
we could
team up to make it somehow public knowldege!
Politicians are all the same (with few exceptions: appearing "giving"
people property to big business AND beeing sued for theft should scare
some of them!
Thanks again
Alain
