Thanks for making me reach for my code. But 17 USC
406, that provides a means for dealing with a date
error, only applies to pre 1988 works.
So, by using the wrong date do you forfeit all benefits of 17 USC 401 (d)? What if it is less than a one year difference? What if it is more?
Just seems odd that there are provisions for dealing with this pre 1988, but not post 1988.
