Exactly. You or anyone should be able to edit out scenes that you do not think are appropriate for your child or even for yourself such as "The Grudge" that I watched the other day. This is no different from books that contain nude pictures or vulgar language. You would tear these nude pictures out or blacken vulgar language before handing the "censored" books to your kid or to other young kids. Unfortunately, this is not possible with the digital works. These film directors and artists are very arrogant that they think that their works should be treated as the sacred texts that nobody has the freedom to edit these works.
