Dear Colleagues,
Academic integrity is considered by many to be the critical foundation of the research, scholarship and instruction that are the core functions of higher education. Faculty and administrators are exploring ways to answer the challenges and respond to the opportunities for academic integrity presented by new technology in todayıs educational environment.
It is a pleasure to invite you to participate in our conference on ³Academic Integrity: A New Look at Law, Policy and Practice.² Please join your colleagues and our nationally prominent speakers at this important meeting in Albany, NY on March 23-24, 2006.
Key Conference Speakers
Dr. Don McCabe is Professor of Management and Global Business at Rutgers University and founding president of the Center for Academic Integrity. He has surveyed over 25,000 students at more than 75 colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada and he has also conducted a nationwide survey of high school students in the United States.
Kenneth Crews is a Professor in the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis and Associate Dean of the Faculties for Copyright Management. He directs Indiana University's Copyright Management Center and is a frequent speaker at conferences around the world wherever copyright and fair use are critical issues.
Gary Pavela is Director of Judicial Programs and Student Ethical Development at the University of Maryland - College Park. He serves as a member of the Advisory Board for the Kenan Institute for Ethics at Duke University, and as a board member for the Center for Academic Integrity.
Call for Papers
We will be glad to receive any proposal for a topic related to the conference title, or you may wish to choose one of the following tracks:

Track #2: Plagiarism and other Issues of Ethics on Campus
Track #3: Use of the Honor Code on Campus
Track #4: Promoting Academic Integrity on Campus
