The Kansas policy referenced in the article specifically gives copyright
ownership of scholarly articles to their faculty so I think there is not
going to be a problem with faculty publishing contracts and opportunities.
The Kansas policy has some interesting add-ons but overall is fairly typical
of most institutions.
