Those of you out there in Libraryland need to be aware of and following the
work of the Section 108 Study Group http://www.loc.gov/section108/ convened
by the Library of Congress. Now's the time to ask for clarification or
changes in the law by contacting the Working Group...which by the way, has
only 4 librarian members. Be warned that we need to be vigilant that we not
lose the current exemptions for ILL and "photocopying" in attempts to gain
broader exemptions for preservation.
