Being a minor does not affect your ownership of the copyrights, only the
disposition of them. The two things that I would recommend to a young
photographer contemplating a creative career are to (1) save all your work
even if it seems unimportant now and (2) get into the habit of registering
your works. Registering photographs is not difficult and for all practical
purposes an unlimited number of works can be registered with a single
application costing $30. There are several good places to obtain
information about registration, on of them being the U.S. Copyright Office
website at www.copyright.gov.
