"in this binding" case?

I may be imagining things here, but.... is there not a case or cases, either in the UK or in a Commonwealth country, involving a copyright page claim made by a publisher in respect of their books? It may have involved a case where the publisher had purported to sell the book "on condition it not be resold other than in this binding" or some such.
