This is a very useful site - many thanks to karen Coyle for bringing it
to the list's attention. However, not all of the information provided is
correct, as far as Canadian (C) law is concerned. I have had time only to
check one item that seemed suspicious to me. Viz:
"Q: What is the copyright status of unpublished letters and manuscripts?
...
Canada
Unpublished works are protected for the duration of the authors life plus
50 years."
Joyce died in 1941, and under the current law, all unpublished works by authors who died before Jan. 1, 1948 came into the public domain on Jan. 1, 2004 (Sec. 7.(4) Copyright Act of Canada).
I have cc'd this to the IJJF so they can change their Web site statement.
Cheers,
