Agreed that it this is more of a privacy issue, but it reminds me quite a bit of the "dog poop girl"
(http://www.nzherald.co.nz/topic/story.cfm?c_id=363&objectid=10371923).   This girl may be understandably quite bothered because of the history of personal attacks in her country.

I'm certainly no expert, but a quick search turned up at least one successful libel action against an American organization (Kwon Sun-Jong v Newsweek, Seoul Civil District Court Appellate Division, 1994). It is unclear, however whether such an action would be enforced by courts in the US.

A good (pre-internet) resource on privacy law in South Korea might be "Press Law in South Korea" by Kuy Ho Youm (1996).
