I have a copy of Title 17, USC annotated, in a 5.8Mb text file that runs 1,871 pp. You could strip out the annotations, and either make it available online for your students to download and print, or print it out yourself, have it copied, and distribute it to your students at cost. I suspect its more useful, though, in digital form, with the annotations, stored on the students' laptops. I uploaded a copy to dropload.com. I'll send the link to the list in a separate post in case you or anybody else wants it.
