Hi people

I was wondering whether anyone had heard anything about the following cases:

  1. Lotus v Borland. The press reports indicate that the latest decision relied on copyright in macros (of all things), while some other reports indicate that it is a patent matter. All seemed rather strange. I hoped someone on this list might know a bit more.
  2. Apple v Microsoft. Word has it that the District Court has finally handed down a decision which wraps up all the issues (that would make it the fifth? decision from the same court.) Anyone heard anything on this?
  3. Engineering Dynamics v Structural Software Again, some unnamed sources have said that the Circuit Court has heard argument on the appeal of this case. True/false?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Regards

Dan.
