Current Concerns in Communications and Copyright

I have been asked to give a talk to freshmen computer science majors on current issues (controversies) related to computer technology, communications, intellectual property and copyright. After I picked myself up from the floor, I thought of asking this discussion list for some suggestions, guidelines, issues--anything you could think of that might be appropriate. Thank you.
