Looking for License/Copyright Infringement Penalties

Howdy,

I'm looking for any information regarding what has happened to companies in the past that have been caught, investigated, and charged with license and/or copyright infringements.

I'm looking for compelling reasons for the company I work for to "get legal" as soon as possible.
