The question is "What national laws does anyone know of that
affect the transnational data flow, especially when the data
is encrypted??"
I'm not interested in copyright actually, but rather the various telecommunications laws of countries that might affect the content of the message (excluding personnel data laws) and whether it can be encrypted as it enters that country.
The US has its export laws for the encryption programs. What do other countries have that affect the data flow??
Any leads would be appreciated.
