Public Meeting

The United States Copyright Office will be holding public meeting on February 1, 1994 beginning at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held in Hearing Room 921, 9th Floor, 1825 Connecticut Avenue, N.W. Washington, D.C.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss proposed regulations concerning rules and procedures for Copyright Arbitration Royalty Panels. The Copyright Office published interim regulations on December 22, 1993 (58 FR 67690). The proposed regulations should be published in the Federal Register by January 18, and will be available for public inspection at both the U. S. Copyright Office, (LM 407, LM 401, and LM 454) and the Federal Register by January 14.

Parties need not inform the Copyright Office of their intention to attend the meeting. Written comments on the proposed rulemaking should be received on or before February 15, 1994.
