Question

I maintain a bulletin board in the main library on which students and faculty leave me notes. About 80% of these are humorous. Many are "advice to the lovelorn" sorts of notes. I respond on the board as often as I can by attaching an answer to the original and hanging them both up, keeping a photocopy.

I have been asked by the Student newspaper whether I would consent to them to publish a selection of these as a column on a regular basis. Any of you lawyers out there see any problem with the authors of the original notes (virtually always anonymous) if I allow this? I have been asked several times to consider a book of them. Same question.

I have a J.D. -- but on this I haven't a clue. Can someone save me the research?

Thanks.
