The LII (Legal Information Institute, Cornell Law School) is
pleased to announce the addition of a complete and up-to-date
hypertext version of the U.S. Copyright Regulations to its World
Wide Web server (alongside the Copyright Act, Patent Act, Lanham
Act, Berne Convention ...)
Those with Internet Browser software (Cello or the equivalent)
will find this new resource at

It is also currently featured on the front menu of our WWW server.

This set of the U.S. Copyright Regulations was built from the GPO tape with manual revisions to reflect subsequent changes. This represents the first of what will be a growing number of resource clusters on the LII server. Those entering off the topical menu will find a Copyright Law document that provides links to the relevant provision of the Constitution, to the U.S. Copyright Act, to the Berne Convention, embedded in a brief introduction. The same "context" document is available from the regulation overview document. While this cluster is made up entirely of documents mounted on the LII server, that will, we trust, increasingly be an unusual situation.
Like other LII hypertext publications this one is also available on diskette with the FOLIO VIP 3.0 software for Windows or DOS. Inquiries to: lii[_at_]law.mail.cornell.edu
A second hypertext release announced this week, designed to assist those following the legal issues surrounding the Olympics, is the set of statutory provisions chartering and laying out the authority of the U.S. Olympic Committee.
