I'm a fourth year (evening) student at Loyola Law in Los Angeles, and coincidentally, am working on the same topic. The results of my research will be incorporated in a research paper I am just getting ready to draft.
I still haven't tied down all my source material, but have managed to collect a fair amount. If your student is open to the idea, I would be willing to share information and insights. Actually, the idea of collaborating with others in the basic research is quite appealling.
