Copyright FAQ

Someone (Marilyn Snow?) posted a message asking where the Copyright FAQ can be found. Unfortunately, I fumbled & deleted the message before replying, hence this general reply.

I post it to the *.answers groups, which automatically results it its being archived at the FTP site rtfm.mit.edu. It's in the directory /pub/usenet/news.answers/law/Copyright-FAQ, in files part1 through part6. In addition, it's at CNI's ftp site, ftp.cni.org, in the directory /CNI/forums/cni-copyright/other/FAQ, also in 6 parts named part1 through part6.

I no longer have a nice direct unix access to usenet, so I have not been able to post updates recently -- I believe the last version is sometime around January 7, 1994. I hope to reestablish full connectivity in the next several months, and return it to a true "periodically posted" status.
