Yes, the Patent Information Clearinghouse, administered (but not near) the Sunnyvale Public Library, has all U.S. patents, including the 19th century ones. The clearinghouse is located at 1500 Partridge, off of Dunford, in Sunnyvale, adhacent to Rayner Park. It's somewhat difficult to find. I suggest taking Wolfe Road south of El Camino, and follow the signs (left on Marion Way, right on Dunford).

The clearinghouse, like most libraries, is understaffed, but the librarians are extremely helpful. The telephone number is 408/730-7290.

If you call the clearinghouse, or the library (whose number I unfortunately don't have, they may be able to fax you a map (I picked one up at the library).
