Dear Members and Friends:
The Washington Chapter of the Copyright Society of the U.S.A. is pleased to announce a luncheon meeting on Tuesday, May 17, 1994, featuring the Hon. Bruce A. Lehman, Assistant Secretary of the United States Department of Commerce and Commissioner of Patents and Trademarks. Commissioner Lehman will speak on the topic of the copyright issues at stake in the development of the National Information Infrastructure.
As Chairman of the Administration's Working Group on Intellectual Property for the National Information Infrastructure, Commissioner Lehman brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this important topic. His talk will also be particularly timely, as it will be close to the issuance of the Working Group's report.
We hope you will join us for what promises to be an interesting and highly informative meeting.
