New York "Drop Dead"?

When forecast found out, it trumped Lafaro by filing charges leading to his arrest on November 22, 1993, for "computer tampering"

under the New York computer crimes laws....

"...the class-C felony charge against Lafaro is eauivalent to rape or sodomy under new York law. The case is still in the pre-indictment stage."

Does anyone know about this case?
