re: e-mail and copyright infringement

Dear listmates,

     As part of a research project, I'm interested in finding any studies that have examined the link between e-mail and copyright infringement. For instance, have their been any studies estimating that "x" percent of e-mail generally contain some portion of a copyrighted work? I realize that this may be looking for a needle in a haystack, but think it's worth considering as new compensation structures are considered.
