Assignment of Copyright by Minors

I have a question regarding American copyright law and I would be extremely grateful if someone on this list could help me out.

As I understand it, under American law, an assignment of copyright must be in writing. Can a minor make an assignment of copyright? Is there any special procedure that must be followed? Is there any scope for the minor to rescind the assignment upon coming of age?
