A line in a draft of an article I'm writing reads:
"Many copyright specialists are fond of suggesting that we operate in an electronic age under a copyright law created for a print age."
I know this assertion is true -- many people *are* fond of saying this, heard 'em on this very list -- and I'm absolutely *not* trying to criticize them for it. It's just a neat analogy to something else I'm talking about.
In any case, a WESTLAW search has found me some cites for this, but not really perfect ones. The concept isn't an easy one to WESTLAW-search for, since it can be phrased in so many ways. So I thought y'all might help me. Any cites would be appreciated.
