The Copyright Act is online at Cornell or one of the other law schools as I remember. If you do an Archie or WAIS search you should find it. You could also go to the library and look it up the old-fashioned way. The leading treatise on copyright is Nimmer, which is continued by the son of the originatory, Melville Nimmer.
