I think that context is very important. Nobody minds being quoted and taking on being responsible for what they said in a certain timeframe/scenario. What is infuriating is when the comment or information is quoted out of context or time without reference to those factors.....or to the person who said it. I think it's more a matter of grace than law at the moment.

While we are all in the process of making new laws, it's nice to think that the grace element will be built in - as it is with many laws created hitherto,
