"Moral Rights" in UK law are:

the right to have your name associated with a work

the right for your work not to be subjected to 'derogatory treatment" - e.g amended or shortened in a way that you feel impugnes your reputation.

The right NOT to be asociated with a work that is nothing to do with you.

There are various exceptions to these rights, such as employees or authors contributing to periodicals. You can sue for damages if your Moral Rights are damaged.
