Does anyone know of any cases, completed or pending, involving the Fair Use Doctrine and computer software? I'm particularly interested in the unauthorized use of materials on computer screens and not the copying of the entire software package. For example, can one take a photograph of a computer monitor screen and use it in an educational setting for educational purposes, for non-educational purposes?
