In Australia, copyright revision is primarily the responsibility of the Minister for Justice, although it is handled by the Attorney-General's Dept (from which the Minister for Justice takes advice). Other Dept's have input to copyright review - in particular, the Dept of Communications and the Arts. There may be others with a finger in the pie, but these are the main ones.
