The North Carolina Educational Resources Association is in need of a speaker to address the topic of "Copyright for Non-Print Media" and implications regarding usage of non-print media in multi-media productions.

Occasion: NCCCLRA ANNUAL CONFERENCE, March 22-24, 1995
Workshop Date: Morning of March 23, 1995
Location: Radisson Hotel, Asheville, North Carolina

We have contacted the North Carolina Attorney General's Office, The North Carolina Bar Association (Speakers Bureau) and have had no luck. All persons contacted indicated either fees too high for our organizational budget or experience in copyright but not multimedia use of copyrighted materials, or... the list goes on and on.

If you would be interested or know someone who would be, have them contact:

     Ms.Jeanne Whisnant
     Director of Learning Resources
     Mayland Community College
     PO Box 547
     Spruce Pine, NC 28777
     (704) 765-7353 x212

NCCCLRA is a non-profit organization. However, coverage of modest travel expense or speakers fee is possible.

I may be contacted at the numbers below, but odds are you will get my answering machine! Faxes/internet mail (directly to me) would be best.
