IP Protection on the Net

I am researching the various models that have been proposed for protecting intellectual property (both content and software) on the Internet. This will include analyses of how existing intellectual property protections are adequate in the online context. I know that this has been a topic for many years, so I would like to find any and all resources on this topic, whether in print or electronic form. Any tips, leads, thoughts, etc. would be most appreciated.
