Intellectual Property Summit in SF

The San Francisco newspapers yesterday reported that a summit meeting on intellectual property would be held here this week. The US is represented by the head of the Patent Office; six or seven other countries are represented. The article didn't say, but the parties to the meeting may be the G-7 countries.

Is anyone on this list monitoring the meeting? Does anyone have background?
