I am looking for information on the current state of copyright law in Romania.

I have information that a new law was being drafted in 1991 (Reports on Copyright Developments in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union, International Copyright Institute Symposium, Nov 18-22, 1991, Register of Copyrights) which includes computer software protection. I need to verify whether this law has been enacted.

I am also interested in any Internet source for Romanian copyright law, post-democracy (not on House Rep web site under laws of other countries), preferably in English, French or Spanish, although I could dig up a Romanian translator if necessary.

I would appreciate any information members might be able to forward to me, or the name or email address of any Romanian lawyers or scholars who might have access to the information.
