Jamie is of course correct. I think a goodly number of us knew that Ray was off working on a Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) rewrite. But that is unfair to those who don't attend the computer law conferences in the U.S. and/or aren't in academia.
Part of the interest to me in the proposed UCC changes is that they seem to be trying to do an endrun around the shrinkwrap cases. Needless to say, this is covered in Mark Lemley's recent shrinkwrap law review article.
